New blood spreads his wings – Recipient13
I must warn You in the beginning. This is technical deathcore stuff. They proved themselves worthy of listening because of not overdosed ‘core matter. They’re used the equipment very wisely with a nice touch of progressive part (“This Time” for example). Beside this, Recipient13 tries to go beyond this modern genre. Guitars can be disturbingly arrhythmic but it gives them some kind of new look. I’ve ran into this band randomly on Youtube and must admit it’s a well done start into scene. The weakest element are the vocals since they’re try to be more emotive than they really are (sounding flat at the same time). The other bad thing is the lenght of this EP – only 7.38 minutes not giving us the proper amount of data to rate band’s possibilities for the future releases.
The good thing that this “ISIS” EP is completely free for download on Recipient13 official website: LINK

This is by far sickest release I’ve heard this year, though it was released in 2010. This is one big arpeggio masturbation with crunchy, brutal – two way – vocals that any grindcore band would be proud of. Rhythm and speed fiend with lot of blasting and stop&go play. You will find some heavy breakdown or two but this is not a ‘core music by any means. It is heavy, cruel and will try to kill You! Must be prepared for this amount of intensity. You must speak to Your brain directly and warn him… there is a storm coming! It’s like Visceral Bleeding mixed with Necrophagist with some addition of Avulsed brutality. Sick EP – I want more! Check the video below!

Look what I’ve found! Maybe not too fresh technical concept but very well executed! Production is massive and the technicality present. Some stomps and breakdown which may get You confused about real nature of ALLEGAEON (could be compared to some metalcore acts). Anyway, this is pretty badass melodic / technical death metal music. By implementing prefix “melodic” they for sure can get to more casual metal maniax – because not everyone listens to such complex music as tdm is. Song writing is catchy and the soloing is very well done – almost amusing I must say. Below You can check the official video to “Biomech” track off this mentioned album.
